R50 weighs about 51 kg per metre; R65 about 65 kg per metre with a taller, wider head. Both are high-carbon manganese steel. R65 yields more mass per piece and is preferred for heavy re-rolling; R50 is often the more economical melting feed.
Yes. We cut to 1–1.5 m for furnace charging, or supply original 8–12.5 m lengths for re-rolling and secondary uses. Custom cut lengths and end treatments are confirmed at quotation.
