Every lot is XRF-analyzed at intake and stored in separate bays by grade. We never "top up" a 304 lot with 316 or vice versa — you buy the exact chemistry stated on the packing list.
No — magnetic (ferritic/martensitic) pieces are pulled during sorting. Magnet testing is our first pass, XRF the confirmation, so austenitic lots stay clean for your melt chemistry.
Solids, plate offcuts, pipe sections, and clean dry cuttings (turnings). Cuttings are degreased and free of other-metal contamination before baling.
