Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between homo and copolymer PP?

Homopolymer PP is stiffer — ideal for raffia, fiber, and rigid packaging. Impact copolymer PP absorbs shock better for automotive and crate molding. We sort and declare the type per lot so you buy the exact mechanical profile you need.

Can I get natural-only PP regrind?

Yes. Natural (white/translucent) regrind is kept separate from gray and mixed streams. It's the preferred feed where colorant loading and consistency matter, such as fiber and thin-wall molding.

Is the PP suitable for compounding and pelletizing?

Yes — with ≥97% PP purity, ash under 1%, and declared MFI, lots compound cleanly into pellet for injection and extrusion lines without filtration overload or gel issues.
