Frequently Asked Questions

Should I buy baled bottles or regrind?

Baled bottles are the economical raw feed if you run your own washing and granulating line. Hot-washed regrind is value-added — lower moisture, verified flake size, and faster throughput for direct extrusion. We quote both so you can compare landed cost per usable ton.

Can I get natural-only HDPE lots?

Yes. Natural (clear/white) sorted lots are kept separate from blue and mixed-color streams. Natural regrind is the preferred feed for pipe and blow-molding applications where colorant cost matters.

How is PVC kept out of HDPE lots?

Manual sorting at intake plus near-infrared (NIR) verification on regrind lines holds PVC and PET at 0.1% or below — protecting your die heads and pellet clarity from cross-polymer contamination.
