Millberry (Bare Bright) is the highest grade — uncoated, unalloyed, unoxidized wire ≥ 1.6 mm with no surface treatment. #1 copper may include clean pipe and lighter-gauge wire. Millberry commands the top smelter price because it melts straight into cathode-quality feed.
Every lot is hand-sorted by trained graders, stripped of anything non-copper, then verified with melt-test samples and XRF spot checks before loading. Inspection results travel with the shipment documentation.
Yes — we send current lot photos and can arrange courier samples. Third-party inspection at our yard is always welcome before container sealing.
