Honey brass refers to clean machining turnings and shavings with the classic honey-gold appearance; yellow brass covers solids — pipe, sheet, and structural offcuts. We keep the streams separate so your charge mix is predictable.
Every lot gets a magnet pass at intake and again before loading, plus XRF spot checks. Fittings, valves, and plated parts are rejected at sorting — the most common sources of iron contamination in brass scrap.
