Honey brass is higher-copper material (≥80% Cu) — typically rod ends and machining turnings. Yellow brass (≥60% Cu) comes from sheet, fittings, and cast components. We keep them in separate lots so you buy exactly the chemistry you need.
Every fitting is hand-stripped of steel stems and inserts, then the lot passes magnetic sorting. Residual ferrous content is held under 0.5%, which protects your ingot quality and crucible life.
Yes — under one contract we can load separate sealed containers per metal (e.g., one of millberry, one of honey brass), each with its own certified weight and assay.
